The International Academy of Human Reproduction (IAHR) encourages all Fellows to recommend COVID-19 Vaccination in pregnancy. Vaccination is the best approach for both the mother and the newborn:

• To protect the pregnant woman against the known risk of COVID -19 in pregnancy,
• To reduce severe disease and the necessity of intensive care,
• To reduce the risk of prematurity and stillbirth ,
• To potentially reduce familial transmission.
